How?
The Glass
For the base layer of most of my pieces, I use Bullseye
Tested Compatible glass, mostly in the iridized transparent colors. And I
do have a large collection of colors to choose from.
For the dichroic part, I once again turn to Bullseye for
the substrate and almost exclusively use Coatings by Sandberg for the
dichroic coating. I do occasionally use Dichro Magic, depending on the
look I am after. CBS produces the most vibrant colors with the most
consistent results. If I am after something softer, I use Dichro Magic.
The Kilns
I currently have two kilns: a Paragon SC1 (teeny tiny, but
a very nice little kiln) and a JenKen Mini Fuser (larger than the SC1, but
at 11" still not a big kiln). I tend to keep them hopping.
