Greyhounds make great pets!
Greyhound
Friends of North Carolina This is a very nice group of people
who help a lot of very deserving hounds find families of their own.
Kansas City REGAP
Retired Greyhounds as Pets. Some more very nice people who work as match
makers between humans and hounds. This is also a good informational
website. If you are in the greater Kansas City area and are interested in
adopting a retired racer, give them a call.
Rocky Mountain
Greyhound Adoption RMGA is based in the Denver area. The
website offers some good, basic information on greyhounds, and has the
expected wonderful photos and descriptions of greyhounds waiting for that
perfect home to come along. Could it be yours?
Greyhounds Only
Serving the metro Chicago area as well as the southeastern corner of
Wiconsin. Another very nicely put together web site offering solid
information about rescue greyhounds in general as well as information
about the specific hounds in that area that need homes of their own.
GreytHounds of
Eastern Michigan GEM serves Eastern Michigan, finding loving
adoptive homes for retired greyhounds. Their web site offers information
about the hounds in need of homes as well as providing general information
about retired greyhounds as pets.

Fortunately, Salukis do not end up in
rescue situations often, but when they do, Saluki Rescue Central is
there to help. |
Saluki Tree of
Life Alliance (STOLA) STOLA provides a nationwide network of
volunteers ready to help any Saluki in need of rehoming. If you think you
might be interested in adopting a Saluki, please check out this web site
for more information and to be put on a waiting list.
Looking for great products? Some places deserved to be
shared.
Greyhound
Treasures According to Linda, the
proprietor of Greyhound Treasures, this site contains: "Beautiful Hand Made Gifts for Greyhounds and the people who share their lives."
I say that you need to check it out even if you don't have greyhounds. In
addition to greyhound-related ornaments and gifts, she offers a great line
of hand-crafted elevated feeders that are functional as well as very easy
on the eyes - one of my favorite combinations!
Falconrose
If you like to take the occasional stroll down a slightly less traveled
road, you must visit Falconrose where you will find the most delightful
leather masks crafted by Georgia Lambert. Each is truly a work of art. The
link will take you directly to the Furred Beings page, where upon
scrolling about halfway down the you will find the Greyhound mask. Georgia
contributes a portion of the sale of each Greyhound mask to Greyhound Pets
of America.
Whimsical
Wishes Is just that. If you like a little whimsy in your
life, you need to check out the work of artist Beth Allen. Her art is
available on a variety of surfaces - from prints to shirts. And if that
isn't enough to tempt you to take a peek, a portion of her profits from
her Greyhound art is donated to Renewed Life for Greyhounds.
