Measuring
IMPORTANT!!! Since each of our collars is custom made to the
measurements you send us, it is vitally important to get the measurement
right the first time. If we make the collar the size you request and it
does not fit, we cannot be held responsible. We can usually work with you,
and have you send the collar back while we make a collar that does fit,
but in some cases that is not possible. So, read the following
instructions carefully and if you have any questions, please feel free to
ask.
We measure all our collars exactly as they are going to fit. When
measuring, use a cloth or other soft measuring tape and measure the dog,
not an existing collar.
Measuring Cloth Collars
When properly fitted, the collar should slip easily over your
dog's
head when going on and should seem a little snug when removed. Use a cloth or other
flexible tape measure and measure first where you think the collar should rest on your
dogs neck, then slide it off and on to make sure that it is a correct fit.
That is
the measurement from which the collar will be made. When measuring, remember
that you don't want the collar to come off unless you want it to do so, but
you also don't want it so tight that it feels like you are going to tear
your dog's ears off to get it off.
When laid flat, a
cloth collar is measured from point A to point B:

measuring, please feel free to ask.
